Pimento Spread Recipe

0

Although this may not fit into your diet plan for the new year, this recipe is a delicious, and addicting one! Let me start by saying I am a carb junkie and Kroger seemed to know that by putting crackers on sale just about every time I did the grocery shopping the past couple months. My favorite are the Town House ones…Keebler knows how to make a cracker! One of my favorite things to eat with crackers is Pimento Spread. It’s so simple to make!

All you need for this are the following:

  • 1 jar of pimentos
  • 8 oz of cream cheese
  • Crackers, Bread, Vegetables

So you know I snatched up several boxes of those tasty crackers, a few jars of pimentos, and some cream cheese. I mean, anything with cream cheese is bound to be good, right? And trust me, you cannot just have one.

Side note, before making this recipe, I never knew what a pimento was. So in case you’re in that boat too, they are considered a cherry pepper and they are tiny in size and red in color. They usually come in a small clear jar, well, like this one…

Okay, back to it. All you do is drain the liquid out of the pimentos jar. Then mix the pimentos and cream cheese together and voila! You have one tasty spread for crackers, bread, carrots, celery, you name it!

Try it out and let me know what you think. Do you have any tasty spread recipes?

I have three jobs I thoroughly enjoy. First, I am a wife to my best friend and partner in crime, James. Second, I get to be a Mom to two super handsome boys, Logan and Ethan. And finally, I am an eLearning consultant, to which I'm grateful to have found my professional passion. We live in Fairborn and it wasn't until we had our first son that we really started exploring Dayton. We have discovered many fun things to do and see; it's been great having those experiences so close! In my spare time, I enjoy doing projects around the house, baking, traveling, hanging out with family and friends, and binge watching TV.
