Strike a Pose

STRIKEA yoga pose that is!

Yoga is such a great stress reliever.  It is a great way to start the day or an even better way to end a hectic week.I take at least one yoga class a week and on really good (or really bad depends on who you ask) weeks I have taken as many as three classes.

There are many great options for yoga in the Centerville area.

The first one is yoga at Club 51. I am already a member at Club 51, so most of the classes they offer are part of the membership.  They offer many different types of classes such as: Hatha, yogalates, pilates, ashtanga/power yoga, and gentle yoga. Club 51 offers mats, straps, blocks, and towels.

Yoga-logik is another great place for yoga especially if you like Hot yoga.  The hot classes typically start at 85 degrees and get warmer.  They offer hot vinyasa, deep stretch, lunchtime power hour, power vinyasa, and fundamentals.  Be ready to sweat when you get into these classes.  It is such a good sweat though and most of the yogis do assists, so I say it is like a massage and a workout all in one.  How can you go wrong with that? Yoga-logik offers mats, towels, straps, blocks, bolsters, and water.  Sometimes they even have warm tea after class!

Ignite yoga located in the center of town has many wonderful options to choose from.  The classes range from lil’ yogi’s (for kids), basic flow, gentle flow,  power flow, vin and yin, and power flow JAM! which features live music.  Ignite yoga offers mats, towels, blocks, straps, and bolsters.

Hot yoga offers a hot series of 26 poses, hot vinyasa, power flow, and power vinyasa. You will need to bring your own mat and supplies, but you can rent them if needed for a small fee.

Whether you are a beginner, or ready to challenge yourself with inversions, all three of these yoga studios can suit your needs.

Namaste!

Jen
I am a mom to four wonderful children. They range in age from 21 to 9. I have 3 boys and 1 girl. I have one set of twins. Imagine the looks and questions I get from people when I tell them that age range! I have an amazing husband, Brian, and we share a passion for running and ALL THINGS DISNEY. I teach middle school PE. In my spare time I shuttle my kids to many activities and love to spend time outside in the sun. I am a Centerville native. I have lived here my entire life give or take a few months when I first when to college. My favorite thing about motherhood: the daily surprises, whether they be slimy experiments in the bathroom sink or cleaning frenzies from my middle schooler.
