Camp Arendelle (Frozen), Camp Pixelcraft (Minecraft), Camp Oceania, Camp Neverland (Peter Pan/Tinkerbell), Camp Minion-Mania, Camp Ohayou (Asian Arts), Camp Fiesta! (Latin American Arts), or Camp Kachina (Native American Arts)

If you have blinked and your little one is not so little anymore, they may be intrigued more by: Camp WYSIWYG (if you don’t now what it means, ask your tween), Digital Photography I and II, Paint-a-Palooza, Abstract Art, 3D Design, Asian, Native & Latin American Arts, Digital Photography II (delete this one), or Master Minds. The Mayflower Arts Center is entering their third season of 18+ exciting camps for young artists this summer! Each art camp is designed to heighten the imaginations of young artists through creative and technical exploration. Artists will incorporate the techniques they learn through both individual and collaborative works. At the conclusion of the camp, each artist will have the opportunity to present and exhibit their creations in a Gallery Exhibit/Artist Reception on Friday evening from 5:00-6:00pm. The Gallery Exhibit will be open to the public. Friends and families are always encouraged to attend.

MayflowerThey offer two separate 4-day tracks — every week — for 9 weeks, starting June 16th. Morning art camps (9am-noon) are for children ages 5-9 and afternoon art camps (1-4pm) are for children ages 10+.

Camp week runs Tuesday-Friday.

The Mayflower Arts Center offers a very hands on instruction experience, so they limit each camp to 15 artists.

Miranda
Hi, I’m Miranda and I’m so excited to bring Dayton Moms Blog to our awesome city! Fifteen years ago I ventured to Wright State where I earned my marketing degree. Since then, I have been happy to call this area home. I’m a proud wife to my husband Ryan, who inspires me to always be better tomorrow than I was today. With his support, I am thrilled to start this wonderful resource for Dayton moms. This will be an exciting addition to my full time career & our five energetic girls! Yep, you read that correctly. Five girls. We have an amazing blended family and we live in a world of organized chaos. Organization out of necessity and Chaos because, well, we are out numbered!! Our daughters are eight, seven, six times two ( twins. yes. Identical! ) and our baby. Brooklyn, Ella, Addison, Payton, & Charlie, respectively. I’m known for my contagious optimism and easy going nature. The little things that make me happy are Panera iced tea & their drive thru. Seeing the sheer excitement of our oldest daughters when Charlie does something cute or new, and a great piece of dark chocolate. Finding an inspiring quote that hits home always makes me smile. I’m so happy you are here checking out the newest resource for Dayton Moms. It is my mission to make it your happy-place, your go-to, your one-stop-shop, your home for all things Dayton, all things mom. :: My favorite things about being a mom :: Knowing I have the power to change the world for the better & No one will ever question my caffeine (or wine) intake...reminder, I have five girls!
