The Miami Valley School
To enroll, children must be 3 by September 30th.
First School is not your average educational experience! Students age 2 1/2 to 5 are exposed to subjects like the Chinese language, Coding for Preschoolers, STEM subjects, Global Art, Japanese Martial Arts (To Shin Do) and Dance. In addition, afternoon enrichment programs for 4 and 5-year-olds are a great way to expand on creative and problem-solving skills.
“My husband and I knew we wanted a place that focused on academics but made it fun and exciting with not a lot of pressure to meet certain standards. First School met all of our expectations and more!” Amy, parent
Both morning and afternoon options are available for the Early 5s classes. Children from other morning Kindergarten programs can even be dropped off at First School for afternoon enrichment to craft a full day Kindergarten experience if needed. A Learn With Me program is also offered Tuesdays for two-year-olds and their caregivers to give them an introduction to what school is all about without having to be potty trained.
Two family learning nights, such as Creek Exploration, are held each year.
Northstar Classical School
Looking for a school that puts first things first? How about shorter school weeks and more opportunities to be involved in your child’s education?
Northstar Classical has been such a blessing to our family. The amount of confidence and knowledge our daughter gained through junior kindergarten was remarkable. The staff continues to go above and beyond to nurture students as a whole person, not just a number. – Kristin

The Antioch School
The Antioch School offers child-centered programs for nursery, kindergarten, and traditional grade school ages in mixed-age groups, the Younger Group (approximately 6-9 years old), and the Older Group (approximately 9-12 years old). It is a place in which children are encouraged to pursue their innate curiosity wherever, and as far as, their abilities can take them.
We are so lucky we found the Antioch School. Their common sense approach to education and small class sizes allow the teachers to customize their lessons for the students who join them. – Meredith, Parent
Children are encouraged to take the next step, to risk, to make mistakes and to try again as they find their own unique ways of learning. Through example and direct experience, children learn self-discipline, self-direction, value setting, and the relationship between choice and consequence. The Antioch School is a place where childhood is respected and children are enjoyed.
