Calling all bookworms! Today is National Book Lovers Day. As a book lover myself, this is a day I love celebrating. I find that the older our son gets, the harder it is to for me to find time to read. Because reading is something that I truly enjoy I’ll squeeze in a chapter or two daily. I may read for 15-20 minutes before my little guy wakes up in the morning, during quiet time or before turning in for the night. While my books per month has drastically gone down since becoming a mother, I still find a few moments daily to spend with a good book. With Fall and Winter right around the corner, now is the time to creating and updating your reading list.
The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins
Red Queen (Red Queen #1) by Victoria Aveyard
The Martian by Andy Weir
All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr

The Zookeeper’s Wife: A War Story by Diane Ackerman
Miss Peregine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs
The Light Between Oceans by M.L. Stedman

Now that you have your list, head to your local library and check out a handful of new books to keep you company. For an added bonus consider reading The Girl on the Train, The Zookeeper’s Wife, Miss Peregine’s Home for Peculiar Children and The Light Between Oceans as all 4 novels will be hitting the big screen over the next year.
