Aqua-Tots Swim Schools
Aqua-Tots heated, indoor pool offers families a clean, safe and family-friendly environment. Join them most any Saturday afternoon (check out the Facebook pages in Springboro and Beavercreek to be sure) for open swim time! Members swim free or it’s just $5-$10 per family for non-members AND they have some great pool toys.
Take advantage of one of their family-friendly events (How much fun does a Glow Swim sound? Or swimming with Santa?) to check out the facilities for future swim lessons or to practice what the kids have already learned.
Aqua-Tots offers family fun for infants through adults, and swim lessons for all ages and abilities as well, so make sure you ask about those while you are there.
**Mom Bonus** There are TWO convenient locations in the area where you can swim.
YMCA of Greater Dayton
Looking for indoor fun, don’t forget to check out your local YMCA!
A membership to your local YMCA brings with it the opportunity for year-round indoor (and outdoor) fun.
In addition to the regular gym classes and amenities, there are a variety of engaging opportunities available throughout the year, including a Kids Night Out at Camp Kern (there is even a New Years Eve option for those older kids), Youth Popcorn and Movies (4-10 years old), and a Parents Night Out that your kids (5-12 years old) will beg you to take – insert “praise hands” here! Seriously though – what kid wouldn’t love a night of swimming, basketball, and pizza while you get some much-needed adult time in as well?
**Mom Tip** In addition to the traditional membership options, the YMCA offers youth/teen memberships (including a FREE summer membership for kids entering 7th & 8th grade in the Fall of 2018). Call your local branch for more info.
With 12 incredible attractions, Scene75 has more things to do under one roof in the Dayton area than anywhere else!
Do you have little ones? Bouncing inflatables are just $9/hour ($7 for 30 minutes). Or enjoy a little blacklight mini-golf ($5 for 9 holes). Mini-Bowling is also a terrific option for little ones – it’s big fun on a small scale ($3.50 per game). Plus, kiddos 36” or taller can ride with a grownup in a GoKart ($10)
For the big kids? Laser Tag, GoKarts, Bumper Cars, a 4-D Motion Theater, Lazer Maze, Mini-Bowling, Chaos Room, and the incredible arcade will make for hours of fun.
