Easter Brunch: Food, Festivities & Savings at Whole Foods Market

The Easter countdown is on – so, when Whole Foods Market invited me to get a sneak peek of all things Easter – I put on my bunny ears and hopped right over!

Miles digging the delicious brick oven pizza!

I started my journey at the entrance furthest from the bar (rookie mistake – one of the coolest things about Whole Foods is shopping with a craft beer or cocktail in hand). Next to the cocktail/coffee bar (doesn’t every grocery have that?), sits one of the most happening areas in the store – the salad, soup, platter and hot bars, plus a huge wood-fired pizza oven. In fact, this area will be home to Whole Foods Market’s all you can eat Easter Buffet.

All You Can Eat Easter Buffet :: Sunday April 16 :: 11AM-2PM

Warning – after checking out their Easter Buffet Menu – you might scrap hosting anyone at your house and join them!  The bananas foster French toast, chicken & waffles, prime rib, and  coconut cake – those are just a few of the temptations that caught my eye!

April is Easter & Easter is Everything at Whole Foods!

I cannot escape brunch at my house – so I start checking out all of my Whole Foods Market Easter options.  Here you can do brunch your way  – make it or take it!

365 Eggs – Which are your favorites?

Make It: First stop is for eggs – both for cooking and for the bunny to hide!  I love the 365 Everyday Value® brand – it is high quality, the price is excellent and the selection is unbeatable throughout the store. In fact – Whole Foods Market just updated their egg standards – all 365 Everyday Value® eggs require that farms adhere to the following living conditions for laying hens: Cage-Free Plus, Outdoor Access, Pasture-Raised and Mobile Houses on Pasture. I tried the Spinach Bacon & Brie Mini Frittatas using both 365 Everyday Value® Eggs and bacon! And I love that all their bacon is nitrate free!

Smokehouse Bacon is a favorite of my family!

Take It: Two pre-made quiches – the Broccoli Cheddar and the Southwest Vegetable. Quiche is one of the best make ahead dishes that reheats perfectly! **BONUS** Every quiche is $3 off all week long before Easter!

Make it: Brunch = cocktails for me & my mom friends!  I’ll be serving both Pomegranate & Blood Orange Whole Foods Market Italian soda with a variety of mixers – including sparkling wine & vodka!  I will also put out fresh cherries, blueberries and orange slices as garnish.

Take it: Another protein for the menu – Wellshire Red Foil Ham (because is it really Easter without ham?).  Luckily, these hams are $3.99/lb all month long (normally  $6.99/lb)! As with everything at Whole Foods Market – they are free of added growth hormones & antibiotics!

As I stroll around the store I am able to find lots of treats for my Easter Baskets! I can’t help but grab some lovely candies, cookies, bunnies, soaps and other Easter treats.  How cute is this stuff!

Look out Easter Baskets – Here comes Whole Foods!

Lastly, as I head toward the check-out line – I nab one of their Online Ordering menus for Easter 2017! You can choose to order a a whole Easter dinner, several mouthwatering main dishes and tons of sides! Simply hop on over to their online ordering site, make your choice of meal let them know the day and time for your pick-up!

After this trip – I cannot wait for Easter!  Bring on the family, bring on the friends, bring on the food, bring on the bunny!

Bribe your kids (like I do) – a good shopping trip = a treat from the treasure chest!
Beautiful Mason Jar bouquet from WF Whole Trade Flowers!

Hello Lovely Dayton Mommas!! I think being a mother is the greatest achievement of my life…I am one of those crazy people who LOVES being pregnant – but will now vicariously live through everyone else’s pregnancies – as my husband (Chris) and I have decided that 2 littles are as big as our family will grow. Miles (4) and Miro (2) keep us on our toes – we like to get messy with art supplies, jump in rain puddles, have nightly dance parties, explore parks, cuddle for movies & skip in the halls at school. I work full-time as a Director of Customer Experience and manage a team of 14, in my spare time I am also getting my MBA through the University of Dayton. I look forward to sharing my thoughts, blunders, successes and failures. #parentlikenooneiswatching
