What do you do for fun in your spare time? exercising, grocery shopping (l love this. im crazy), photography, gradually purging and minimizing while decorating the house we bought a yr and half ago, activities w/ my kiddos, traveling, being active in our church, exploring local.

Are you a Dayton transplant or were you born n’ raised in the Buckeye state? Born and raised

Where is the furthest you’ve traveled? Italy

What is your most memorable concert experience? dancing on stage with Vanilla Ice on my 24th bday, in Pittsburgh, minutes before the power went out.

What are your post-bedtime guilty pleasures? a cup of nightimte tea with my hubby while we watch fixer-upper shows or other DVRd madness

If you could eat only one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? homemade guac

What is your favorite Dayton locale? 2nd Street Market

What is your most memorable parenting fail? not sure if its a ‘fail’..but not following the ‘wait 30min after the last puke before you give them another sip of anything’ instructions. yup. didn’t wait. a few times.

What is your most memorable concert experience? Jewel/Steven Poltz concert in high school with my then boyfriend, now husband. First kiss territory.

What is your favorite Dayton locale? Dayton Strength and Conditioning (shameless plug!!)

What is your most memorable parenting fail? Showing them how to work the TV to find Netflix and YouTube…..

What is your favorite post you’ve written for Dayton Moms Blog? I wrote about my struggle with additional needs parenting. It felt very raw and vulnerable to post it, but I received many messages of support and how it struck a chord with many others: Chased by Grief
