Halloween Fun in and Around Dayton

Aside from the typical “Beggars Night” trick or treat, there are also family friendly fall festivals, pumpkin patch extravaganza’s, indoor and outdoor family fun events and even some events fun for your older children. Do you have older children who prefer to be really frightened? Check out this site. All events below are perfect for all ages!


**September 22 – October 28**
Halloween Haunt

Spend the day at King’s Island, then end it enjoying the haunted rides, events and thrills! Note: There are various levels of “Halloween Intensity” to experience here. Some are family-friendly, and some might be a little too scary for little ones. Check out their website to see what works for you!

Take a spooky haunted wagon ride designed for families with children. Listen to some scary stories, then load up onto the wagon for a ride through the dark “haunted” cornfield.

DMB Tip: Goblins & ghouls are waiting in the cornfield for fun thrills & chills, but they will not touch or grab anyone. Despite this, it might be a little frightening for really young children.

It is a private event and tickets must be purchased in advance. The bounce house area lighting will be dimmed with some strobe lighting, but the fun town area will be spook-free. They ask for NO costumes to be worn for safety concerns.
