Summer birthday party planning has become monotonous for me recently. Both of our boys were born in the summer months, June and August, so I feel like I have covered every idea for their parties. We have had water themed parties, zoo parties, and even a gym party last year for my oldest. This past month, for our son Reid’s 4th birthday, I sought a location that was enjoyable for both kids and their parents.

Jenny is one of my best friends, an incredible mom, a rock-star teacher and an amazing party planner. The Learning Tree Farm is taking full advantage of all of these qualities! Embarrassingly enough, I had no clue that the Learning Tree Farm offered as many activities and events (like birthday parties) as they do. I blame this on my very numbered years as a Ohioan! I was completely on board as soon as I was told what a Learning Tree Farm Birthday party consists of.

They provide you and your guests with use of a covered pavilion for two hours during your party. Your birthday boy/girl is made the star of the show and the the right hand helper to your Learning Tree staff member.

IMG_8994Jenny, our Learning Tree Farm staff member, led the group through the barn to see each animal in their stalls, pens, or pasture. If you are lucky. you will get to hold and pet adorable chickens! After our time in the barn and pasture with the animals, we had the choice of playing farm games or a hike through the forest to the tire swing. The second option is the one I highly suggest to you, as it was so worth the short walk. By the time that the group returned from the tire swing and hike, they were ready and excited for a snack. The party time ended with a bang of cake and presents!

I have never seen Reid smile and laugh as big as he did that day. The Learning Tree Farm is an amazing place for any kid’s birthday party. If you are interested in a no fuss, hands on, fun for all ages birthday party, you need to call The Learning Tree Farm today! Amber
Hi Dayton Moms, my name is Amber! I am blessed with a wonderful husband of nine years along with two smart, rambunctious, and life-loving boys. I am originally from Alabama, but our family has very much grown to love this area and proud to call Dayton home! I am a stay at home mom as well as a certified postpartum doula and the owner of Delighted Doula. My passion, in addition to my family, is educating, assisting, and empowering mothers during the first few months after birth. When i’m not caring for mothers and their babies I’m searching for new allergy free recipes to make for my family (our son has a laundry list of allergies and intolerances,) meeting for coffee with friends, and finding new places for my boys to run off their energy! What I love best about motherhood is being a mom to two boys. Everything is an adventure to them and being taught how see life that way is so much fun!
